The Soviet Union, I mean Russia, conducted the first cypberattack coinciding with a military attack against the country of Georgia (Although the Russians are totally denying that this happened). The attack started from somewhere in the United States and started around July 20. So Puke, I mean Putin, knew about it before he went to the Olympics.

The Return of The Soviet Union
They're back, the USSR (the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic for those of you who don't remember). I always thought it was a mistake electing the former head of the KGB the President of Russia (Kind of like electing the former head of the CIA or his prodigy, but never mind). Doesn't Putin sound an awful lot like puke?
Putin assails US over conflict with Georgia

MOSCOW (AP) — Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is criticizing the United States for airlifting Georgian troops from Iraq.
Putin said Monday that the U.S. move will hamper efforts to solve Russia's conflict with Georgia over the breakaway province of South Ossetia. The U.S. military has begun flying 2,000 Georgian troops home from Iraq after Georgia recalled them.
The Russian-Georgian conflict blew up after a Georgian offensive to regain control of the breakaway province of South Ossetia.
Georgian troops fled South Ossetia on Sunday, yielding to superior Russian firepower, and Georgian leaders pleaded for a cease-fire. Moscow responded that Georgia was not observing its cease-fire pledge.
